Like i said, hes had quite a few dissapointments in his career and a lot of though fights. He looked different in the Provodnikov fight. I guess Matthysse and Garcia actually ruined each other.
Yeah,Garcia will be in the mix for some time more, but I think he will retire being on a loosing streak,I don't think he will know when to retire.
His style always lended itself for a short career, power puncher who could easily be outboxed, he had a decent chin but he has eaten so many jabs over the years and is visibly slowing. Retirement seems a wise option is if he has the money.
What are you talking about? Easily be outboxed. Everyone he got into the ring with had a tough time. Alexander fight was a straight robbery, Judah was a close loss for Judah, Garcia was a close fight even with a 1-eyed Matthysse, and Postol was close before the stoppage.
Yeah he definitely packed it in. Must suck to come up short in all your biggest fights. He could have done more in each one of them.
Alexander fight was a def robbery. Judah fight the scores were acceptable. Garcia won kind of wideish postol humilated him and people are in denial
