    Good for him. Shame he never got a title when far lesser fighters have done so, but he's had a good career.

    Then quit. Im not a Boxer but can imagine how horrible a full training camp must be when you just dont want to do it. Fallen short a few times trying to be the best but hes had a great career. And if he feels differently in a year or so he can always come back.

    I think the politics of the sport is what has discouraged him, I don't blame him, he has been on the on wrong end of some very wrong calls.

    At this tyme Mathysse doesn't train,admits he is hurt from the loss.Says he is 32,and has been in boxing for a long time.

    Says,if he comes back,it will be at the welterweight,if not vows to open gym for young children.Says,he isn't a millionare,but can sustain gym and provide for his daughter.
