Martinez was already highly unlikely, but with their opposing HBO and SHO contracts it's been put down forever. He kind of needs Canelo to win to put together any type of 'super fight' that could exceed the 1.4-1.5 mil he did with Mosley and Cotto. No other matchup could garner that type of hype and attention. I'm guessing SHO's target is 1 million buys for the incentives of his deal to kick in heavily, and he'll get it with RG because he's been out for a minute and people are curious. If he's fighting again so soon though, he needs a dance partner.

How many of these wins would be at 147? None? Ok, there's your answer. There's no reason for floyd to fight ANYONE coming up from 140 unless they rack up a couple wins at 147 first.

GGG/Sergio fight at 160. Floyd's fought at 154 twice in his career and can't reach the weight limit there but he's supposed to fight the lineals @ 160?? :huh:huh

You are just a casual fan if you think Matthyse has a chance versus Floyd. He looked above average versus two "okay" boxers in Judah/Devon.

It remains to be seen what will happen with Saul/Fish

'a belt holder' doesn't mean much when you're floyd
154 isn't a good place for floyd to return too

where did he start, super feather?

Floyd would absolutely destroy Mattheseye. And he would not even get the Floyd fight anyways (even if hes undisputed 140lb king). I don't even think he beats Zab in a rematch.

If he wins the 140lb tourney that GBP is having, then you can guarantee Floyd will fight him

You are such a casual Alexander would be a much better test for Floyd at 147 than Matthysse

Mathysse is a different beast to the one that lost to Judah Alexander
He has a chance against Floyd,an outside chance but it would be one hell of a fight
I see Floyd fighting Kahn down the line

How will that humiliate you? Do you realize how pathetic Matthysse's resume is, get ready to hop off the bandwagon
