Rueda is something of an emerging talent, looked wild at first but he's tidied up not too bad. A legitimate puncher he's stopped thirteen of sixteen against limited opposition for 16-0. Last night he hoisted the national featherweight title for Argentina. Knowing Argentinian talent will milk the national cow often so we might not see this boy on mainstream tv for a while but anyone alive to the possibilities here? What you think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rB7RgYpANj4
The next Diego Chaves. Decent, solid puncher, some defensive flaws, a lot of fun. He'll probably get to fringe world class though I'd love to see him move on to being genuine world class.
:yep You don't think his power is legitimate? As in, you don't regard him as a legitimate puncher? I think that's going to be the key tbh. Though he has moved on a good bit from the early days, that's for sure.
Not really fleet of foot or quick of fist, but he's got legitimately heavy hands and knows when and where to place his shots. Worth charting his progress, at any rate.
the guy he knocked out was pretty much askin to be knocked out: - backs away towards the ropes for no apparent reason, -drops his left hand because he was trying to use it a range-finder??? but then tried to do that too late, -backs away in straight line and then starts to back away at an angle when his opponent is gonna be in punching range to land.
Yeah the power is legit, like Chaves' though I don't see him being a KO artist when his level steps up. Like Chaves I don't see him scoring a series of top level KO's but even the top fighters will respect his power, if that makes sense.
