Oh well i want to see hamill gets a shot at somebody good. Maybe we can see if hamill is worthy of a title shot. It seems like the same fighters are always getting title shots.

I would like to see hamill if he gets by rampage gets a shot.

That could not be less true. No former champion has challenged for the light heavyweight title since Tito in 2006. And Rua at UFC 113 was the first challenger since Tito to have previously fought for the title before and that was only because he recieved an instant rematch after being screwed out of teh championship at UFC 104. Jackson, Henderson, Griffin, Evans, Machida and Rua (UFC 104) were all first time challengers. And of course whilst the original plan was to give Evans a chance to reclaim his title at UFC 128, it so transpired that yet another new challenges (Jon Jones) will get the shot.

That is true of most of the other division's as well. At middleweight of Silva's ten scheduled title fights (including Lutter) there is only person who got a second shot in Rich Franklin. With the exception of Franklin no former champions/challengers. And we know that whoever he next faces will be someone whose never recieved a shot at that title in the UFC be it Okami or GSP.

Welterweight is the same as in the six scheduled title fights (including Shields) of GSP has faced a different opponent each time. Of those six only BJ Penn had previously fought for the welterweight title. Heavyweight is complicated base on how you deal with interim titles but even so you're still basically averaging a new challenger every match.

The only one that has seemingly got really clogge dup is lightweight thanks to BJ-Edgar having an instant rematch followed by a two-match championship series between Edgar-Maynard. But even so since the title was revived with Penn-Stevenson its still averaging a new challenegr every fight

Hamill is just a gatekeeper in the division imo.

I don't care to see this. There are way better fights to make with Rampage. Rich Franklin, Forrest Griffin, or Rashad Evans would be more interesting.

****, I really don't like Hamill. And he has the most annoying longest post-fight interviews, along with Guida. Just shut the **** up and get out the cage.
