jo..that was some bull****.. close as it was...yea?.......the decisions what?!....lets stop with the money
It was a good card....for it being free made it better on Spike. I still think he go the shaft in this fight. Like I said, what has been hurting boxing is BS calls, and if MMA starts doing this already, it will hurt the sport also.
I agree completely. I figured that Bisping would annihilate Hamill, and even felt bad for Matt entering the fight. But after getting totally owned, instead of showing even an inkling of humbleness,........Bisping shot his mouth off and played to the crowd that he disappointed the whole fight. The guy is a dick. In his defense,......he was overconfident, had ALL the pressure fighting in front of his home country.....and he is severely undersized for that weight class. He shoulda been a true man, and admittted all of that instead of being a donkey pecker. Not saying he shoulda admitted that he lost, (which he did).., but been just a bit humble and honest.
I seriously don't understand how Bisping could be given either of the first two rounds. They were not even close. I can see giving Bisping the third based on his activity, and Matt just sort of dragging the fight to the ground while Bisping was going for broke. However... that can't take away the fact that Matt absolutely owned Bisping in the first, and clearly won the second.
Exactly. How is any sport to be taken legit, if the damn announcers look past obvious bull**** like that. Give me Larry Merchant over the "winner's bag licking" Joe Rogan any day.
I only came in at the start of the last round. Unless Hamill completely dominated the fight before that, I don't see how it could appropriately be called a robbery.
He didn't say he thought UFC or MMA was ****. Just that this card sounded like ****, and did not appeal to him.
Yea I just finished watching this fight and Hamil clearly took the first two rounds imo. And then Bispin acted like a ***** post-fight.
Bisping is a typical delusional English lad with no class. Hamil sustained no damage throughout the course of the fight. The same can not be said for Bisping. And the English lads wonder why American boxers don't wanna fight overseas?!?!?!
This is getting ridiculous. The first was CLEARLY Hamil's, but the second could have gone either way. The third was also close but I thought Bisping won that one. 3-0 Hamil like that one judge had wasn't crazy, but neither was 2-1 Hamil or 2-1 Bisping for that matter. Hamil's striking clearly bothered Bisping more than visa versa in the first, but it's not as if he pressed an advantage and had Bisping in a lot of trouble or anything. He didn't really do a hell of a lot on the ground either. One of these days Hamil is going to have to actually use the "great wrestling" of his to do something on the ground. That said, Bisping looked like ****. He stayed in the fight, but he punched pulling back the whole time and just missed with TONS of punches because of it. He also wasted combos on Hamil's guard when the body was wide open. I'd have preferred if he'd have stood his ground and got knocked out than fought that way. Acting like he'd dominated the fight afterwards didn't show much class either. I suspect he won't want to fight Hamil ever again.
