bisping di mma and the ufc franchise a huge disservice after the result....a bit of humility and respect for hammil, who was clearly the better man on the night, wouldnt have gona amiss.....christ, bisping was even intimating to the crowd after the fight that he thought it was very close before the bs result was announced......exposed as a second tier fighter with a terrible attitude.....let him get in with randy and say go back to wrestling.....
**** that, im ****ing tired of hearing that classless **** Hamill is deaf and so on, if he's ****ing man enough to get in the ring and talk trash himself, he is ****ing man enough to be dealt with trash his way.Why the **** should Bisping pitty-patter around the boy, because he's deaf?**** THAT!!!No ****ing sympathy, this is a blood sport, deal with it! And whats with all of you saying Hamill outclassed Bisping, not from where i was standing! Yes Hamill was the bigger man, yes the first round was his, but did he do anything, really?No.... Now Michael took a while to get into it, but he was the one that was always throwing, and if any of you doubt his ability to get out of bad situations you need your eyes examined.Matt could not keep him in any sort of control, and the two punches the limited Matt did land did not flinch Michael at all, so why the **** the outcrie for a Matt win. I personally saw it as a draw, but could understand why the win was given to Michael for his work ethic. Bisping needs to go down to 185 though, he's far too small.
I couldn't say it better myself. There is absolutely no way Bisping won either 1 of the first 2. I lost a lot of respect for bisping after the way he acted, and gained a lot for Hammill. Hammill took that bull**** decision with a lot of class. :deal
I must say I was surprised at the decision, I myself thought Hamill won although it was close. Perhaps a draw would have been fairer. What did shock me though was Bisping's attitude after the fight. Hamill clearly gave him what must be one of the closest fights of his career, and to not even acknowledge that and wave a hand at him and say "back to wrestling" was incredibly bad sportsmanship. I think its bad for Bisping and the sport, especially in light of the bad press and the UFC's efforts to promote the fighters as sportsmanlike. This arguement will probably turn into a UK v American thing, and I can understand everyone trying to stand up for a British fighter but I've lost a lot of respect for Bisping and so have many people, which I think is sad. I know they don't like each other and Bisping was under pressure to perform for a home crowd, also fired up right after the fight, but even he must have realised how close it was and how much Hamill had improved. I think he lost a great opportunitty for himself and MMA in general. If he'd said something like "It was a close one, Matt's really improved, respect to the guy, etc" I think it would be a different story today. He should have been Randy Couture instead of Tank Abbott. I'm just dis-appointed.
close decisions are a way of life, don't want close decisions then finish your man, and hamill didn't do enough to dominate to the point where he won over the crowd which made it easier for the judges to screw him. it's just the way it is, thought bisping was a **** but that's up to him. hamill needs plenty of work, his dropping his hands, his shoots were sloppy later in the fight and the oh so important submission game, along with more gas and he could be really dangerous.
Bisping vs Tito please. Would be logical move for the UFC matchmaker. Bisping accused Tito of playing favorites with Hamill on the TUF show. Maybe Matt erroneously let Bisping up but you can rest assured that Tito would elbow him to into oblivion.
Tito isn't what he used to be.....but he would destroy Bisping :deal And I would love to watch it, and then listen to him talk **** to him afterwards :yep
just like you said CC would beat CK but I noticed you havn't said much on those subjects......it's easy to spot off isn't it:deal but not back it up
:huh So what? I got that one wrong......WHO DIDN'T PICK CRO COP???? All logic and reason led me to believe Cro would win. First of all, Kongo didn't look that good in his last outing, and I thought Cro Cop would return to previous form, and actually come out with some ****ing fire in his eyes. But he didn't. Whats your problem? Do you think Bisping would beat Ortiz? :nut Or maybe you actually think he won last night? :think You think it was appropriate the way he acted after the fight? He acted like an ass hole, and fought like a B-level fighter........AT BEST :deal
Hamil won the first and the next two were close. I'll edge it to Bisping 2-1. Hamil hurt him in the first and was going nuts but in the next two Bisping boxed and looked to score none stop. On occassion when Hamil did take him down nothing happened. I give Bisping credit for avoiding so many takedowns and getting up quite quickly once taken down. Afterall Hamill was supposed to be some really good wrestler.
It's not that he talked **** to a deaf guy but how he did it. He said "Well, I guess its time to go back to wrestling" and he jetted out of there before someone could tell Hamill what was said. And another thing, out of respect for Hamill since his voice is quiet they should have someone speak for him if hes not able to be understood (not because hes deaf but because he speaks so low).
I think they put a lot of pressure on Hamill to speak. It looked like he was looking around for a speaker. He was respectful and thankfully he talking was ok. He should be ok by himself but he spoke a little low. It is great to see him in the sport.
