fair play to him for doing the european scene but why does the man seem to think he can do things on world level.

for me he needs to stop talking about world title challenges and fight kell brook, who would smash him to bits inside five rounds.

i would even give the washed up witter more then a chance against him, no skills no power and basically no point in talking big while avoiding british fighters!

Brook v Hatton in an eliminator seems the best fight out there for both TBH

Because he's improved out of sight in the past three years.

He'd beat Witter no problem, all you need to do with him now is keep him occupied and maintain a high workrate, and don't let him land on you with his wild swings.

Hatton has a decent jab, decent right hand and a solid chin..... he's as basic as they come but hasn't done badly to win the European and beat a couple of half decent fighters in America.

He'll never be a world beater and Brook would run rings round him en-route to a clear points win..... but so what?

Plenty of **** fighters keep getting undeserved world title fights on their name, you could do far worse than Hatton in a now bare welterweight division outside of Pacquiao.

100% correct in that statement, he is very lucky to have a superstar older brother to live off the name. Average boxer at best, very lucky to even hold a wprld title

decent right hand? not sure about that.

witter could still knock him out, thats why the fight wont be made, all im saying is that i dont rate him and i dont think he should be talking about world titles when he is clearly average at best!

Witter couldn't knock out a flyweight anymore, his timing is absolutely shocking and his punches come with a postage stamp attached.

If he throws his uppercut now it might get there next week.

Matthew Hatton isn't that good, but far worse fighters have challenged for world titles on more than one occasion. If he earns his shot, why not take it?

I see Anthony Dirrell is ranked #1 at super middle, not exactly earned his go, has he?

i see your point but i just dont think he has any talent, why not take a shot of course but if he fights anyone half decent he will get battered.

frankie gavin could beat him now easily!

Frankie Gavin would not beat Matthew Hatton ATM. Hattons not that bad is he? He never says he is the next boxing superstar, he's just a regular bloke earning his crust.
