He's gonna have to step it up if he can, in my opinion anyway. Thats probably the best I've seen him tonight, but wasn't exactly a world class performance.
Who trains him now? He seems to have gotten better over the last few years, is it experience or trainers, or both?
I dont know if he can win a ''world'' title but hopefully he can beat some decent fighters to step out of his brother's shadow Im not really much of a fan but i'd like people to know him for his performances and not who his brother was
Not sure who trains him, he seems pretty comfortable in the set up though. The commentators tonight kept pointing out that he had no amateur, or very little amateur experience...so he's had to learn the hard way in the pro game, and maybe it's all just clicking now.
Very possible. I currently train with Dorin Spivey (sometimes I've been lazy , great guy) and he had 0 amature experience and learned the fight game the hard way and has just recently started bringing his game to the next level. Maybe Matt's there as well. And yea, I'm not exactly a big fan, obviously it's boxing so im interested, but hopefully he will be able to step out of Rick's shadow and make a name for himself.
The guys who work their way up the hard way, usually become very well rounded...can prepare for any type of boxer, and pick up little tricks along the way...along with a load of experience. But yeah...hopefully he steps out of Ricky's shadow. :good
Hope to see Hatton do well and step out of his bro's shadow but unfortunately I don't think he's good enough to win one of the four main abc belts; to be honest if he did win one I think it only reiterates why these abc belts are pretty much a joke. He won't be picking up any ring belts that's for sure.
