    Says Hughes who lost 2 times against GSP via stoppage (Armbar, KO)

    I do agree that GSP is playing a little overly protective and that it is the reason why he isn't finishing fights lately, But I don't think it's that alarming since in every single one of his fights he outworks and outskills his opponents. 13 of his 21 victories(whole career) are stoppages, being an up and coming contender, he had the rush and could allow to be aggressive and take bigger risks, being the champ is a different game. :bbb

    If theres one guy i truly despise is Hughes. He has nothing good to say about anyone. **** off Matt you're not relevant any more.

    On the face of it Hughes does have a point in that his career has clearly been more entertaining than GSP's but when you look more closely you realise that the reason for that isnt that Matt has been incredabley aggresive(he's often been happy to LnP decisions) but rather that he had much worse standing and submission defence than GSP does these days.

    Not really GSP's fault that he doesnt have to slam his way out of triangles is it?

    To be fair, the 30 seconds he fought in his last fight were as enjoyable 30 seconds as you'll get. :D

    Hughes did have a more exciting last fight....nothing like getting knocked the **** out in under a minute to be exciting.

    True gsp fights has been boring but he is winning. Hughes fight has been exciting my favorites were gsp-hughes 2-3 -hughes-alves and hughes-penn 3. Now those fights were exciting:lol:

    Hughes is so arrogant, but I just can't find myself disliking the guy whatsoever.

    His 3 fights with GSP were more entertaining than GSP's title defenses altogether.
