Rogan reminds me of a heavyweight version of Hatton - crude and full of heart and passion.

I will give Skelton credit he was clocked on the sweet spot 10 times before he went down. he is one tough mofo.

I am shocked at the result and manner of victory for Rogan. Skelton, like Harrison had his ass handed to him tonight.

Well done Rogie - bring on John McDermott!

Skelton does have a good chin. He took some huge shots.

I'm glad Rogan won, maybe he can knock off a top 10 HW before he gets too old.

Very good win for Rogan, Chagaev couldnt put a dent in Skelton!!

Hope Rogan gets a shot at a world title, he should be euro champ!

    He'd own Valuev!

    :good

john mc dermott??...rogan hasnt time to be looking anywhere only upwards...give him a top 10 world heavy...
in the current climate of heavyweights he has a chance to be a top 10 if the right opponent is given to him.

  10. I decided on the basis of a great return if rogan wins to bet £30 on him.

He won - and right now i'm a fan. He's won me a lot of money, and what a gutsy performance, he might not have much skill - but he's got more desire than 90% of the heavyweights. Take aside Klits, Haye and povetkin and he's got more desire than the rest put together. Jesus, what a second wind to get that ko/stoppage.

His stamina will be brilliant as well now - he's been there, done that, and knows what it takes. I'd love to see him against Wlad - although the odds of Rogan winning would be tiny - it'd be very interesting to watch.

Rogan is the best heavyweight out of the current English crop, that's for sure.

Funnily enough I was thinking the same thing while watching the fight.

One of the best HW fights I've seen for ages. Big respect to both men when you consider both their ages, amazing work-rate and the fight was in the balance right up until that 11th round. I hope there's a rematch.
