This is on a Sauerland show and therefore should be on Setanta, if they are still around when the date is announced.

    A good winnable come back

Pianeta is pretty decent. Will be a close fight.

I think Skelton will win this the Polish guy beat Pianeto imo by a round or 2 and he lost due to stamina, something skelton has

    Exactly!

Just shows in Boxing you don't get what you always deserve. It seems since Rogan brutally knocked out Skelton three months ago Rogan has taken three steps back in his career..... meanwhile Skelton's is back on track?

Is this for the lightly regarded EU belt that Pianeta is the champion of or for the proper EBU (european title that Skelton once held) championship belt? I can't see anything either way on the EBU/EU website.

Bit of a come down then for Skelton. The EU belt is a lesser belt than the Commonwealth one. This is not the European title that is the EBU belt.

Thanks colinthfc for the heads up fella.

Focken EU and EBU gets confusing. It would be much easier if everybody in the world referred to the better one as the European title, then the lesser one as the European Union title.

I saw this kid fight Albert Sosnowski and there was a very strong case for Albert having won the fight by a point. Pianeta seem to improve a bit late on if I recall. Ended up a draw. Decent test for Pianeta but we will see what Skelton has left, as a year ago he would have breezed through this.

Bit surprised, I thought Morph might've called it a day.

As GoatySimpsons says, it's pretty much down to what Skelton has left.
    I wish him the best.
