yessir, Saul is hard to watch. He tries even harder than Cotto(e) to be deliberate.

    Oldsley KTFO Saul!

I think Alvarez is too big.

Not necessarily a better fighter than Brook, but good enough that when you throw in the physical size difference...

Well if you don't rate Canelo you shouldn't rate Brook. :huh

Granted, Kell isn't hoarding a title...yet...but Alvarez has basically matched two of his four best wins (and beat them both before Kell) and has a few other halfway decent wins in his back pocket.

Near-shutout of Hatton, near-shutout of N'Dou, TKO of Cintron, TKO of Gomez, TKO of Rhodes, KO of Baldomir, KO of JM Cotto, near-shutout of Tyner - those are Canelo's eight best wins.

Near-shutout of Hatton, near-shutout of N'Dou, TKO of Jackiewicz, TKO of Jennings - those are Brook's four best wins.

He literally doesn't have another win beyond those four that's even worth mentioning. Anybody else he beat that had a pretty record - it was padded and empty outside of domestic level success. Canelo has twice the number of remotely notable wins at world level, and turned pro a year later than Brook.

    This... great resume for 21.
Miguel Vazquez ibf lightweight champ x2 is a good one for his resume as well...
    :deal

Also canelo dominated him first OP.. maybe this is the case of how pac got the better of Hatton after mayweather had softened him up... just how canelo softened Hatton :yep

:patsch Completely forgot he beat Titere. :good That makes nine good wins, to Brook's four (two of which are rehashes of a couple of Alvarez's)

Canelo has the better resume thus far, but I feel that Brook is more skilled.

I just watched the fight. Brook outclassed Hatton thoroughly, but it just wasn't the brutalization that Canelo handed out. M. Hatton is one tough customer when all is said and done.

Brooks showed good stuff, thanks Cellz.

Voted yes, but with a big qualification.

Well, Canelo was very, very young at the time(still is). Kell should be entering his physical prime years. Canelo has years to go before he in his physical prime and will be far more experienced.

I think the fact that he was a mere lad of barely 20 years old and still dominating Hatton makes Canelo's win much more impressive.
