    I never considered Alvarez a big punch. He has average power, buts puts his punches together well. matthew hatton is known for having a tough beard. I dont think there is anything to critique in that he stood standing the whole fighting. Alvarez threw everything but the kitchen sink at him

    I saw Hatton go down a few times trying to disgracefully draw point deductions against Canelo from the referee when he wasn't actually hurt.

    Yes he is and he desrves all the credit, and nothing should be taken away from Alvarez.

    I thought that Hatton was just in there as the designated loser, and when I first saw him he looked weak and sickly to me, but he was excellent, just not strong enough to hurt A with his punches.

    Indeed, he took some big shots during the fight, but went down on 2 reaction punches from Canelo, like he was hurt by them. :roll:

    But the younger Hatton just has a tough cookie.
