When is Hatton jr going to fight on a bill of his own - instead of taking up an undercard slot that could be filled by a quality young fighter.
Tackie has lost 4 in a row, and 5 of his last 7, but I would still expect him to beat Hatton "shitbag" JR. It pisses me off that this ****-wad of a boxer gets to make himself so much money by appearing on these big cards headlined by his brother.
A mate had to wake me up for the Malignaggi - N'Dou fight because I had fallen asleep during his pathetic attempt to knock over Craig Watson. According to the stats, he threw 250 punches (a welter usually throws about 600/650 I would guess) - but does that 250 include whilst shadow boxing in the change rooms?
Interesting match up IMO.... I'd love to see Tackie in with Nigel Wright or Kell Brooke that would be half interesting too.
Is this fight actually happening or is it just one of those "fantasy matchups"? On the assumption that it's the former I'm not sure, no doubt Tackie has slipped a lot since the days when he was in the ring with the likes of Tszyu, Mitchell and Hatton senior, but has he slipped that much? Hatton junior is domestic/commonwealth level at best. Mind you looking at some of the guys Tackie's been losing to... I'll say the natural welterweight to outpoint him but without any real conviction.
Matthew Hatton is an unwatchable abomination, the last thing needed when you're trying to stay awake to see a big fight in the early hours. Tackie is in a habit of losing, although he should have enough to beat Matthew. I don't want to have to watch this.
Heres a tip, if your big Brothers a World Champion at something...its probably best to pick something else. You WILL look lame otherwise.
Looking a bit lame in exchange for earning far, far in excess of what your talent deserves... I guess it's a trade-off that most of us would be willing to accept.
:deal One thing Matthew does have is defence and a good chin - never down as amateur or pro. With that in mind, why doesn't he try to metamorph into a Margarito type fighter - he may lose more than he wins, but at least there would be some entertainment...... Instead of the painfully boring UD's over bums that we are used to!
I'm not a fan of either Hatton. The way Matthew struggled to even get near Watson was disgusting to watch. I think he's to muscled up and doesn't let punches flow as he just looks to hit and hurt and not mix up his power to get inside. Now he's got a new trainer we will have to see if he can change it up but i doubt it.
