Matthew Hatton wants to fight Floyd Mayweather

    The younger brother of Ricky Hatton, who is a well respected welterweight (with 33 wins from 37 fights) has stated that he thinks he should be given a shot at Floyd.

    Following in the Klitschko brothers footsteps with Vitali's demolition job on Sanders, this would certainly pose a serious challenge to Floyd.

    Should Floyd give Matthew Hatton a shot?

    Would Matthew Hatton be able to raise his game and cause Mayweather the most serious challenge of his career?

    Mayweather would destroy him, shouldn't even consider this fight. I'd rather see him fight Margarito than fight Hatton's younger brother to be honest.

    Matthew Hatton is a better boxer than Ricky, so he could probably outbox Floyd from the outside.

    Actually, I have heard these rumours for a while and for a while I honestly did think that it was a joke.

    But the guy is filled with fury and Floyd may well see it as a way to make a lot of cash.

    People thought that Vitali was the clearly inferior brother, but at one point he was the one on top.
