    I have never really been a Matthew hatton fan. I cant reall stand him to be honest. I have met him on 2 occasions now and both times he came accross as very rude. Add this to the fact that he clearly lives off his brothers name (not such a bad thing if he wouldn't obstinately deny it)

    Anyway now it has come out that he was ordered by the BBBC into a British eliminator with Michael Jennings, yet he turned it down.

    Is he just trying as hard as he can to alienate himself from the average British boxing fan? I've heard rumours that he's getting an IBO shot later this year, but surely this is a bigger fight, considering the publicity Jennings has recieved lately, added to the fact that this would interest British fans.

    What is this mans problem ?:think

    by all accounts it seems that unlike his brother, he doesn't even try to put on an act, or hide the fact he's a charmless twat.

    regarding boxing....it's obvious he's little more than a club fighter riding on the pigtails of his brother, who with clever matchmaking and manipulative mareking became a name in boxing.

    I respect all fighters and there's very few i dislike. But I DETEST this orrible little ****.
    Fight for a proper domestic title against a proper domestic rival you ****in nomark.......

    Agreed.Just been informed that he turned down an eliminator with Jennings to fight Judah:-(He will never ever amount to anything above area level so why bother?

    I think his career is a joke. He should be fighting amongst the British guys and doing okay. However he is taking advantage of his bro's status and fighting hand picked opponents to move him along. He's fought the odd good fight. I'm bored of him talking like he's going to step up to world class. He's domestic but never mixed it up properly.
