from what i hear the hiltons weren't exactly top flight..they was kinda pushed.. but mayorga now he whooped the man who beat the man .. he was technically or he should have been rather..the pound for pound best in the world after beating forrest ...

he'd be way to skilled if you can imagein .. even if its in his own right .. for matt hilton

Matthew Hilton was a better fight than Mayorga and a little bigger man. He would've got inside Mayorga's wild punches (and taken some for sure), but would do the better work on the inside and stopped Matorga late.

Hilton had a vicious hook andwould have taken Mayorgas head off in the 5th round. One thing you didn't want to do was stand in front of Matthew-he was a very powerful jr.midlle.

Okay so Hilton in his early 1987 prime v the mayorga of 2003 vintage.
I think Mayorga demolishes Hilton in 5 or 6 in a barnburning slugfest. Hilton would quit on his stool, mauled, and broken.

A prime Mayorga would get his head blasted off by a prime Hilton. That was one mean left hook Matthew had.
