Ayala quite easily. A few rounds of Tony's unrelenting rage and Matthew finds the canvas a likely destination- and welcome alternative to being hit a few more times.
Hilton was the proven product and a class above Ayala. And for a Hilton to be a class above someone, shows how low Ayala is/was.
In Ayala's defense, the best fighter Hilton beat was Drayton, and Buster was hardly great. He beat Benitez when Will was an absolute shell of his prime self. Ayala was much better technically than Hilton. Tony threw short, compact, devestating shots with excellent technique. Hilton was just a crude winger, but his hook was devestating. His right wasnt bad either. So its hard to pick a winner.
He was brilliant beating Mark Kaylor the night Terry Lawless nearly topped himself as both his big money makers were upset against alleged no-hopers in Buster and Bonecrusher (verses Bomber Bruno).
