I'd favor Sibson in a brutal fight. A little bit better boxer IMO, a little bigger, and just about as tough.

I think Hilton was a better fighter than Sibson much faster and more schooled. However Hiltons prime was short lived and his best weight was JM. When he moved up to middle he was already faded. At MW id pick Sibson but PFP and in his prime Hilton was the better fighter.

Sibson had the skills of Canizales and Miguel Lora squared compared to Hilton(who i quite liked actually).

I liked his no bull**** aggressive style.Heavy handed and a really good bodypuncher, but the guy was no technician:good.More of an unrefined natural talent imo.

Well Hilton and Sibson had a similar style but i just think Hilton was more naturally talented, faster and a little bit more refined. I think a Prime Hilton also had a better chin, surprised at how well he took the bombs of a dangerous Buster Drayton.

The cclosest resemblance the two had to each other was physical. Sibson was a very well schooled slip/angle/counter fighter, whereas Hilton was more or less just a loaded up swarmer/power puncher. Very little similarities in their style.

Well i remember watching Sibson and he didnt strike me as well schooled. IVe seen his fights with Don Lee,Marvin Hagler,John(Irish) Colins maybe you can recommend me some fights where he showed a miraculous transformation.

I thought he looked fine against Lee prior to the KO. He certainly showed his skill-set. Same with the Collins fight, even if he fought in a very aggressive manner. Give his fights another watch, I'd say.

:patsch I stand corrected guess my memory didnt serve me right:-( Just from the clips put up by Great A. Sibson does look to have better technichal skills than Hilton, Guess i just couldnt put the Hagler fight out of my head:lol: Where as Hilton i just remember being surprised at his relentless and big punching in wins over Drayton and Benitez.
