Well someone said he was fighting Winky Wright which will not happen, Winky has said he will retire unless he can secure a big fight, then on fightnews Geale's promoter said he had a deal with Hatton to take Macklin over for a fight with Geale in August but that also seems bull****. I don't no about Macklin, he just seems to mess about to much always swapping trainers and moving about, wonder what the problem is with him? The Middleweight Division is starting to look a bit bare now with Pavlik moving up and no doubt Martinez looking for the bigger fights at 154, it's not out of the question Macklin fighting for a world title, but his career has been so stop start.
That's a backwards step for Macklin, he needs big fights at this stage of his career. Andy Lee wants Barker next, that fight makes way more sense.
