Why did he have the Irish anthem on Saturday? when did he decide he was an Irish fighter and not British?
Why did he fight for British and English titles?

Once he realised he had an Irish fanbase more than he had an English one.

    The thoughts of ignorant minds.

For the record he's both but I suspect growing up with an Irish Father, and Irish mother within a strong irish community in England and also spend his summer holidays in Ireland with the rest of his Irish cousins and friends would really determine a persons national identity. I dont think he is shunning England its just logical for a person in those circumstances to feel more Irish than not. Whats the big deal?
