Back when he was an inexperienced weight drained fighter, after a brutal war. I dont count that against him much

Translation: I'll have a better chance of beating Jr. and will certainly get paid more; I'll probably lose to GGG, most likely by KO, and won't get paid as much for it either. If I'm gonna lose, might as well get hurt less and get paid more. I want some of that JCC Jr. money.

If Macklin actually does get Jr. next, I wouldn't call it a duck. But if he fights someone not named GGG or not named Jr. in his next two fights, then it's a duck.

The proposed date is at the end of June. A top guy is going to need at least two months notice to organize a training camp. I just have a feeling this bog hopper is waisting all of our time and using the Golovkin fight as a bargaining chip to get Chavez Jr.

We all know Geale is waiting for the ever so speedy Aussie lab to magically clear up Soliman's B sample so they can fight down under. Quillen is under the protective cloak of Showtime and Pirog has serious medical issues that will not be resolved by late June.

Golovkin should try for Dirrell at 168 but he has as even less chance of taking this fight than those credible middleweights that everyone keeps mentioning.

It's signed from what i've been told (June). Sanchez promising a even better KO from Golovkin then the Ishida one.

    GGG vs Macklin
    Chavez vs Macklin
    GGG vs Chavez

any of these fights are badass....

forgot though that Chavez is fighting Barker.

    so...

    Chavez vs Barker
    GGG vs Macklin

hopefully can set up the two against eachother.... would be epic.

That's what needs to happen. Wouldn't mind Sergio taking Geale (who was also recently mentioned) in the Fall rather than GGG if we get a fight with Chavez Jr. Golovkin has got to get in the door here with a Top 5ish guy.

Chavez Jr. is either ****ed or blessed. He's seen as damaged goods after the ass whoopin" Martinez put on him AND he's still the biggest draw of the division.

More simple translation: "I prefer the fight where I would make more money." I know that's a weird philosophy for prizefighters to have.
