Apparently on the undercard for Pascal's comeback on December 14th. Sounds like a tasty fight to me, should be short and exciting. Personally can't see it going too well for Lemieux.

If Lemeiux has a chance its in the first 3 rounds.
Macklin will be expecting an early attack though and will box at the start.

loved how Macklin destroyed Alcine, i wonder if he will fight fire vs fire vs Lemiuex or drag him to deep water like Rubio

Im like Lemiuex but i have a tough time seeing him take this

Macklin isn't hard to hit and whilst he is tough, nobody is tough enough to walk through Lemiuex. I like Macklin a lot but I think the power difference here is crucial.

    Lemiuex KO5.

Rubio was backing up a lot in the fight and when he did go to the ropes, he had a night tight guard. I don't think Macklin boxes as well as Rubio on the backfoot, nor does he have the tight defence than Rubio has. On top of that, Rubio has a granite chin and whilst Macklin's isn't weak, it's not nearly as good. Lemiuex punched himself out a bit against Rubio and only then did Rubio start to apply his own pressure.

I don't see Macklin being able to withstand Lemiuex's early onslaught, in all honesty. I don't think he moves well enough to avoid being in range. I don't think his defence is good enough to avoid being hit clean and I don't think his chin is good enough to take the shots.

I'm happy to be proven wrong because I like Macklin. I like both of these guys but I think Lemiuex will win.

I can't get the Rubio fight out of my head when it comes to this kid. Last time he tried to step up, well -- you know . . . .

i find this one a bit of a surprise if it happens. thought mack would want to go after one of the more recognized names. but hey, should be a good one while it lasts due to the styles of both guys. i think mack will look to box for the first 4 or 5 and wait for david to slow down, then turn up the heat. mack in 8 or 9 with the first 4 rounds being nice and hot.

So Macklin beat Alcine in about 140 seconds, the guy who beat Lemieux. I like this fight be cause styles wise they are both come forward hookers. But to be frank MaKlin has so many more dimensions then Lemieux that I doubt lemieux can win this fight.

Lemieux's two fights since his back to back losses have basically shown me that other then getting himself into better shape he hasn't learned much. He still has no idea how to set up his offense. And by that I mean he still mindlessly throws punches at set guards and he still has no defence and instead relies on throwing brainless punches to bring his opponent's activity level down.
