Surely there was a better option, I can only see the same result again to be honest.

I hope he does to be honest. Then in the late rounds when he's slowing down Macklin has a chance to push for the stoppage.

I'm guessing it will be made official soon enough. Sturm promised Macklin a rematch, hope he doesn't go back on his word.

by all accounts Sturm had to lose 30lbs for the fight.

I think he could looked past Macklin, I very much doubt he will do it this time.

Sturm played the forehead game in I.

    KO in II.

Does this mean Jpab won't have to put up with people telling him that Sturm has one of the best jab's in the sport now? The first fight highlighted a lot of Sturm's flaws that had already been shown up on numerous occasions, hopefully Macklin can take full advantage this time.

Just heard from Matt. He hasnt discussed a rematch let alone signed one.

But Sturm sees it different -

    "Hello friends,
It really was a close thing on Saturday at the Lanxess Arena. I think Matthew Macklin and I have put up a great fight that surely ranks among the best in the middleweight division.

As I said, it was very close, but I'm still firmly convinced that I have achieved the results clearer.

Of course there is still much debate, but all this talk I will quit.
At noon today my manager sent to the warehouse Macklin of the contract for a rematch. We have an appointment on the 25th-26th November 2011 (Friday, Saturday) in the Lanxess arena proposed.

My suggestion to Matthew Macklin: "Let's clear the thing among men of the world." As I said: "I'm ready And I'm sure we'll see an even bigger fight in November.."

    Felix"
