Who you guys think takes this one?

Barker's got skills but from interviews he does I think he thinks he's a lot better than he is and comes across as a bit of an arrogant twat at times, plus he always seems to have a dig at Macklin whenever they mention his name, I hope the fight happens so Macklin can knock him out tbh.

Barker comes across as one of the more humble honest fighters in boxing. :huh

Macklin has been a lot busier in recent times whereas Barker is constantly injured, so for that reason I'd favour Macklin.

For the many decent middleweights we have in the UK it's a disgrace that none have fought each other.

Macklin is non stop and i don't think Barker especially with his injury problems would be able to cope with him for 12 rounds. MACKLIN STOPPAGE ROUNDS 8-12.

Macklin would be stupid to sign for a fight with Barker, he'd only end up injured and pull out of it again. Didn't that happen in september 10 ?

Mack has bigger fish to fry in the states

Macklin would beat him, dont rate Barker much,he's a little overrated, nice boxer but doesnt have much power to keep Macklin off,Macklin by late stoppage..

    This.

I can also see Matt sparking Darren out.

Murray vs Macklin is a very interesting fight, though.

they actually did the punditry together for the last Murray bout, there didn't seem to be any needle, good fight though potentially one that could definately capture the public if eddie weaves some magic

I always used to think Barker would be favourite if this ever happened but I've been impressed by the way Macklin has performed when stepping up in class so I'd fancy him.

A couple of years ago I thought Barker would box his ears off but Macklin has put in some impressive performances & Darren has had some terrible injuries.

It would still be a very competitive fight but I'd favour Macklin to win on points, I doubt the fight ever happens.
