Macklin is spending more time with his back on the ropes, jabbing at Heiland from a lean-over. Heiland is getting there with his 1-2, persistent. Left hand leads by Heiland, bang on the mouth. Macklin is mostly just scoring his jab up top backing up in a duck and just scraping the body with his right as Heiland walks him down.

Macklin is throwing jabs and uppercuts together as he jumps in and then pushes down on Heiland's gloves, unsuccessfully looking to contain his offense. Heiland eats flush right hands coming forward but his pressure is paying off, scoring 1-2s and chasing him into the ropes with smacks on the side of the head, forcing Macklin to hold.

Round 5

Heiland is landing lefts up top and then leaning in with Macklin and threshing the body. Little coming back from Macklin. BIG looping left on the body by Heiland, following with a right hook on the cheek and a shorter left plugged into the stomach. Macklin is curling his back, getting sent along the conveyor belt into the ropes. 1-2 by Heiland. Macklin shoeshines low.

Macklin is jabbing feebly up at Heiland and getting pushed into the ropes. Heliand is pinning him there with right jabs and left crosses. Heiland drums atop Macklin's head at mid-range. Macklin is getting shut down as Heiland keeps laying the leather on him for a full three minutes.
