Matthew Macklin vs Willie Nelson, Nov 16

Good interesting fight.

I Like Nelson hes a good fighter with some pop but with a weak chin, if Macklin is close to what he was in the Martinez fight then Nelson is in trouble, hes never fought anyone on Macklin's level and last time around he struggled against a a mediocre fighter and was lucky to come away with the win. Both guys can bang and when thats the case i usually pick the guy with the better set of whiskers in this case i'll go with Mack The Knife by KO but i'll be rooting for Nelson.

 

Looks like Macklin will be fighting on the road again.

Yes he is but hes 6'3 and very thin, physically he reminds me of Paul Williams, seeing how he struggled in his last fight it might be the case that he had problems making the weight and is now making a move to 160 where he will probably look stronger and maybe less shaky.

 

What happened with Macklin leaving McGirt? That ****er has no loyalty.

Macklin ought to get to Nelson's chin eventually. It might take a workmanlike several rounds.
