I love Saad Muhammad, fantastic life story and a real-life black Rocky. But you can't routinely take the clean shots he did and hope to beat the biggest one shot puncher 175 has seen.
Agreed. Matt is a favorite of mine and an ATG. I could see a possible blood-letting here by Bob. That jab could have had Matt cut early with combos coming right behind. Matt may have his moments but, pvp, Bob wins a UD or bloody stoppage.
I have to agree with others here and say that Big Bob would take it, some of Matt's ko's came over worn out opponents like Lopez and I think was the reason Conteh was dropped late for the loss in their first go. Still Matt could bang with that right hand and if he caught Foster on the button?
It's more than fair enough to favour Bob, who I rate very highly h2h at 175, but he never faced anyone with the combined jab, offensive range, skill set and one punch KO power of Saad. And it ain't as though Matt would have to go looking for him either. He could really box too when his heart didn't rule his head, which wasn't often enough. I'd favour Foster I think, but if Matt stood up to his power well and got in a few good blows of his own, it wouldn't shock me to see the win go his way at all. Foster could be a bit like a cat sprayed with water when hard hitters invaded his space, though that was more at heavy weight tbf.
Saad would be too easy to hit, and wouldn't be able to weather the storm and comeback against Foster.
I could see Bob potentially ending it early, but most likely it will be a war with Bob winning on a 13th or 14th stoppage. He is dealing with a real warrior, and will know it after the fight.
Foster by decision. Saad was incredibly resilent and got stronger as a fight progressed, but Archie is just too all around for him. I don't see Moore stopping him, though, unless it's on a cut.[/QUOTE]
Saad had amazing recuperative powers. However no miracle comeback for Saad against Foster left hook. Foster finishes what his other opponents couldn't do against a prime Saad. Foster ko mid rds.
