Matthysee slightly dirty but still a beast (no excuse just observation)

Cheating pete should not have started ramming in with his head in low... He did the same **** to khan who got point deducted for continuously holding his damn head down and pushing him way.

Pete has been sevearly overated on this forums of late - prior to this fight anyway. His equilibrium was off against all guys he's faced. He was gifted a draw against Ortiz in a 10 rounder where he was down twice, against khan with everything in his favour.

lucky Smoger gave him a few extra seconds after the knockdowns otherwise you'd e complaining that Matthysse did not go to the neutral corner.

 

Meh...

First round Peterson stayed on the outside yet failed to land his jabs despite his reach advantage...

Second round Lucas tried to actually make something happen in the fight.. Lamont responded with holds.. so Lucas fired off some rabbit shots

Smoger warned Lucas and he stopped, actually see him lift his hand to hit Peterson in a clinch on the head but stops in respect of Smoger's orders


Lucas knocked him down fairly in the second with a left hook on the temple...

 

Dont feel disrespected BUT you must know one thing about professional boxing(and sports in general) there is plenty of "dirty" tricks every fighter does(that we see and dont see) thats just part of the game, if you want clean boxing without anything "dirty" watch amateur boxing. Every professional sport has dirty tricks and guess what everyone does it, like little elbow to the body or head in NBA JUST PART OF THE GAME, in boxing everything is legal until ref warns you

 

Good ploy by Lucas.... he saw in the first round that Peterson had a game plan.... to get him away from that game plan he realized he needed to rough Peterson up and soon as he started to do that Peterson got angry and decided to trade.... he played into Lucas' plan.... Lucas is a beast.... Lamont is a good guy and I wish him all the best

 

Peterson's game plan was f*cked seeing him fail to land the jabs without anything behind them in the 1st round despite his reach advantage.

 

Peterson's someone who takes PEDs and rubs his head in people's faces when working on the inside. Ain't no big deal if he's then rabbit punched by someone.

 

He only really rabbit punched when Peterson tried to smother him up close. Fair play, far as I'm concerned.

 

Every fighter has to have a little dirtiness in them.

the holding that pederson was doing is dirtier in my book. also, testo boy kept turning his head to avoid geting hit in the jaw, prefering to get hit on the back of the head where he could cry to the ref.

You want to pay attention to something? Then pay extra attention to Smoger's reaction to Lamont's complaints about the rabbit punching... he didn't do a damn thing about because that's what happens when you grab a guy. One foul brings on the other one. And that's why Double S is the best ref in the business.

You don't want highly aggressive guys like Mathysse to foul you dirty then quit ****ing grabbing them and box!
