    If I were Haymon I wouldn't advise it IMO Matthysse gave Him all he could handle with one eye.:deal


    Note: I do give Danny respect for doing that to his eye if indeed it was a punch

    Danny is way too mobile and intelligent to get cornered by the flat footed Mattysse. He was hitting 2,3,4 punch combos continuously throughout the fight and Mattysse could never get off more than one. And even if Danny does get caught in a bad spot, hes got great punch resistance and toughness. I said before the fight Danny would beat Mattysse and I see absolutely no reason why anyone would favor Mattysse in a rematch. Swollen eye? Thats what happens when you take left hooks to the face

    Great when the public overrates fighters, easy money to be made on great odds. Thanks

    Matthysse KO in 8. he will be more reckless knowing that garcia can take his power and get both his eyes shut

    Matthysse needs to hope Garcia moves up in weight so he can fight for some vacant titles

    Then why was it a close competive fight if Matthysse is so easy and overrated ?

    Well, i know one thing Matthysse wants the rematch so now let's wait and see what team Garcia thinks about this because this is the biggest money fight for Danny other then Mayweather

    A Broner fight will make way more after he destroys the Other Argentine power puncher that doesnt have a back up plan when the power doesnt work

    garcia can take his power and matthysse isnt a good enough boxer. it was interesting to see garcia moving matthysse back in exchanges

    Theres been so many times where fighter A loses to fighter B the first time, then goes on to win a rematch (and often times the rubber match) that I don't see how people can be so certain that Lucas wouldn't win a rematch, especially given this fight was as competitive as it was.

    BUT

    Garcia shouldn't have to fight Lucas again. That was a brutal fight for both guys, and theres really no need for a young fighter like Danny to have to go through that again against a guy he soundly defeated, against the odds.

    Garcia should be able to move on. Although hes quickly cleaning out all possible opponents.


    Should Broner beat Maidana, Broner vs Garcia should be next, and that is a semi big matchup considering how young the fighters involved are.

    Not sure what fight you saw but 95 percent of the time Danny was the one moving back and I dissagree about Danny being able to beat him in a rematch because Danny almost lost to a one eyed Matthysse:deal

    Marcos is a bum that got dominated by a guy matthysse beat (devon)and broner and Danny are good friends so I don't see that happening

    Garcia was way more fluid in letting his combos go. He seemed to be getting the better of the exchanges . I was very impressed at how calm he stayed when Matthyse would apply pressure . I'd favor Garcia in a rematch.
