A half blind Matthysse took all of Garcia shots.

Both have great power and great chins. Matthysse has more raw power. Neither will knock each other out (Although it's possible)

Matthysse has the choice...go for broke earlier...or try to win a close decision which it would be unless Garcia has improved which I doubt.

That slow motion replay shows Garcia throwing a combo, how many singular punches thrown you know are unintentional, let alone combo's??

 

Lucas already tried going for broke early, don't you recall him starting like a man possessed? And Garcia did not win on the KD, that was countered by the point deduction, he was out boxed.

He went for broke after round 6 after his eye closed. Up till that point they were boxing on par with most people having even scorecards...

"Starting like a man possessed"? erm did you really watch that fight? Both Matthysse and Garcia were stiff and cautious for the first 4 rounds...very slow paced.

 

There was other fights on that card? All I remember is that all action barn burner Smith-Molina

 

apparently some white ginger mexican dude (I know right?) faced a black guy named TBE.

 

I know Carlos, or knew Carlos Molina, and sparred a lot of rounds with him when we were amatuers. I was on pins and needles that whole fight, and very excited with the result. That being said, that fight must have been pretty tough to watch if you weren't personaly invested in it.

 

Garcia beats the everloving **** out of Matthysse the second time around, Garcia cracked his chin horribly.

 

The word that comes to mind is "exposed". Maybe that's too strong of a word, but I don't thonk its too far off. If Lucas' plan A is overwhelming force, if that doesn't work it seems he has no plan B.
