Matthysse is pretty much on the same plane as BRONER

    They of course lost to the best fighter they've ever stepped into the ring with. And of course knocked down in their last bout (Broner twice) and both losing a very decisive/clear unanimous decision.

    I believe a fight between Matthysse and BRONER would be a good one for boxing. People have been clamoring for Broner to go back down to 40 (As he made the moveup to 47 much too quickly)

    This would be an extremely fan friendly fight and sparks would fly if they were to ever meet. I believe Broner would easily be able to outbox him. We'll see what happens.

    If Matthysse hit him the way Marcos did, Broner wouldn't even have the chance to do that chicken dance, he'd be sleeping.

    I don't agree. He showed that he had a very good chin at 35 and 47 and also a great heart.

    Broner also had some sick power down at 35 and it would carry much better at 40.

    Matthysse could also sleep vs Broner's punches.

    I can see Broner knocking Matthysse out as well. His power would carry much better at 40.

    Broner had some wicked power down at 35. Matthysse could be rees'd in this potential fight.

    I know you're trolling, but Matthysse was doing just fine against Garcias and Judahs power.

    No way in hell would Broner sleep him.

    Matthyse destroys him. I know you're a big Broner fan, but come on, he'll get handled worse than he did in the Maidana fight.

    I had heard that Maidana beat him when they were amateurs. I thought that Matthyse was looking the more impressive of the two as pro's, but Maidana did tear Broner a new *******. I think that with Matthyse's style, he'd definitely close the show against Broner inside the distance, though Maidana probably closes the show early for Broner in the rematch. I'm hoping that we'll get to see a Maidana/Matthyse fight in the next year or two.
