He should be mad at the way the fight was reffed. Kinda hard to win when everytime your coming on you get hit with a low blow and your opponent is credited a knockdown which wasn't a legal scoring blow because mattysse was inbetween the ropes when he got hit and without those PTs it woulda been a draw.

Well, for those that's new to boxing the final scores in the Matthysse vs Garcia fight were 114-112 on two cards and if you factor in the bogus knockdown in that rd Lucas was easily winning Garcia wouldn't have won..

I'm not even gonna mention the 12 legit low blows that was ignored :deal

Mathysse does not want to move up to 147 because he's too small to fight there. He's too short.

 

I like Matthysse. Always watch him fight. But it is what it is. Everybody salty about Garcia because he decisively beat their favorite fighters (Lucas, Amir, and Erik).
