Khan should steer clear of Matthysse, he doesn't need another brutal stoppage on his record, I think Lucas would retire him, he'd get inside and just brutalise Amir in the first few rounds.

Amir needs to be carefully matched until he sharpens up defensively.

Garcia/Matthysse is the fight I want to see, will Golden Boy risk there new 'star' fighter in Garcia? I doubt it, Matthyse would make mince meat of him.

We must be twisted to want this fight, Lucas would end Khan's career without a doubt.

They will probably make the fight as Matthyse is promoted by GoldenBoy so they gain irrespective.

Lucas would destroy Khan.. by guess would a 1st round stoppage probably within 15 seconds..

Like a smaller more accomplish Golovkin.
Put him in with the winner of morales/Garcia then up to 147, hopefully by then he'll be a big enough name to get a fairly judged rematch with Alexander.

That's not how Golden Boy work Olu, Garcia has that crossover appeal, is younger and will be able to draw big crowds with his Puerto Rican heritage.

Frankly I never felt that they were keen for Garcia to face Ajose or Matthyse so will not be surprised if Garcia gives up the WBA belt. I also think Garcia is an improving fighter though very beatable.

    Garcia is beatable, I agree.

Though I think you've got to respect him. I think he knows his game pretty well, and it'll take a pretty rounded operator to take care of him.

You certainly need above average power and timing.... we've seen how he dealt with Khan's speed.

In this matchup the unfortunate thing for Khan is that, since experiencing those robberies, Matthysse has upped his tempo and become a lot more aggressive. Prior to that, he used to try and box more. Khan against that version would have had a good chance. But now he'd get beaten up pretty badly. Matthysse's turned into a right monster - walking through anything to land his bombs. Got one heck of a chin, too.

Khan would never, ever take this fight. The last thing he needs is Matthysse shattering the last shreds of his career to pieces.

Did you lot see how Matthysse shrugged Ajose off like it was nothing?. Guy is like a film character. Khan gets mashed up in this one, no way out!!. Takes a horrible one sided mauling and gets taken out in middle rounds if not earlier.

Lucas can box a bit, that's what makes him even harder to fight..

I really hope that Matthysse turns into the 2010's version of Marvin Hagler.

Not that he's ever going to be anywhere near as good, but he just looks like a terminator.

Two controversial losses early in his career.... everyone else executed in style.

    Let's hope so :yep

The **** is with you people continuously wanting him to lose? Lost vs Peterson, got stopped vs Garcia and yet, you still want more?

Even I dislike boxers and want them to get beat, but not continuously. Some of you are just pathetic.
