Matthysse VS Maidana

they fought four times in the amateurs maidana won 3 fights and the other one was a draw.but the pro game is different and I believe matthysse can hurt maidana and stop him with a body shot.maidana hates those body shots.

 

Hard to say...

You'd think Maidana would have a size and weight advantage...but actually we are talking an inch or two & up to 4 pounds max for Maidana...

Good fight...Maidana would have got killed a couple years ago against Matthysse...but now he is under Garcia it's harder to say & he has a good chance of winning it...

Maidana is very vulnerable to the body...The only fight I didn't see him visibly hurt or worried about his body in the last few years was against Floyd LOL! (excluding Petrov & Martinez who got savaged) & the last thing you want to do against Lucas is drop your hands to protect your body (which Maidana does often if you hit his body)

Such a fantastic fight which would sell big yet I can only forsee it happening in the later stages of their careers probably in Argentina...would be a great for them to make such a big fight in their home country.

 

Maidanas weakness is body shots and matthysse might be one of the best body punches out there honestly

more like maidana wont be able to handle matthyse's brutal body shots.maidana has been down more times than I can remember.

 

All this talk on here about chino getting hurt in fights, yes its true but Lucas has been shown to be hurt in fights as well (head shots). With the power that these 2 have, its a real 50/50 fight.

Maidana beat his ass 3-1 in the amateurs, he will do it again in the pros.

 

Matthysse recovers so fast it's like he's not even hurt

Lm lost all ability to take a shot. Chino is much tougher and hits way harder.

The body shot from khan is the only time I've seen chino really hurt. Seen him buzzed a couple times but really hurt was from that perfect body shot in which he never fully recovered from but still put a hurting on khan and could have easily won

 

Seems you are mixing the fighters up. Lm still hasn't recovered from Garcia's shots

 

He isn't feeling **** from Garcia.

 

Then how come he gets flattened by shots he previously wouldn't even had noticed landed ?
