people talking about Maidanas vulnerabilities but Matthysse is the one coming off a life and death fight with a lightweight, getting shut out by Devon Alexander? How about getting shut-out by Andriy Klimov like Molina was

 

According to most Matthysse fans, Garcia lost as well. Don't take anything they say with any objectivity. :happy

 

Maidana's boxing has improved immensely since teaming up with Garcia so I wouldn't be surprised to see him outbox LM.

However my gut feeling says Matthysse via TKO!

Marcos would demolish Lucas in any weight and kind of fight, he is just too mentally strong for Mattehysse.

 

Great fight. I would imagine knockdowns on both sides. Hard to pick, but I'll go with Chino, due to the size advantage. Matthysse can take and come back from a punch just as well as Chino. This would be bloody!

 

Maidana ko, easy work especially at WW. Matthysse won't handle the pressure and the power. Maidana has his number.

Do you know how stupid this is?
Matthyssee and Maidana both have above average boxing ability with lapses in defense. Marcos n Lucas both have lots of power, lucas i'd say has a bit more. He has one shot power whereas Maidana's seems to be more accumulation power.
Lastly they both have varied offensive attacks, but lucas has a better offensive repitoire. Marcos can fight better on the inside but LM has much better body work and variety of punches. The last point is why lucas would win the fight. Maidana hates body shots it was the one time he came close to being KO'd and lucas hits way harder than Amir Khan.

Matthysse by knockout!!! Matthysse knocked Peterson out in the 3rd round, yet I don't see any rematch coming up. Matthysse should fight the coward Garcia ASAP, but Garcia is running from Matthysse and Herrera..............Garcia will fight a flyweight next................
