Matthysse win changed to NC

Bad Stoppage but I don't think Harris had anything left, he looked visibly wobbled and I wouldn't have been surprised if Matthysse would Knock him down or out later into the round. But yes, bad stoppage.

It was a bad stoppage but Harris looked like garbage anyway. He would have been stopped soon after. Keep in mind he had to be carried out of his last fight on a stretcher from a headbutt. The only thing I can think of is maybe the ref had that in mind and thought he saw Harris in trouble. I seriously doubt it will be changed to a NC though.

 

That is BY FAR THE WORST stoppage I have ever seen in a pro fight. He got hit with one good punch and went in to clinch with his left arm while his right hand was still up to protect his face. Yes Matthysse was winning and fight and MAY HAVE won later on but come on. This was a former title holder not some tomato can bum that was takin a beatin for a few rounds and the ref was just lookin to save him.

I never thought it would be possible for a fight to be changed to a NC because of a bad stoppage but that def deserves it. That was complete bull**** and the ref is either a complete ****in ******* or was favoring Matthysse big time. Either way he should never be allow to ref another pro prize fight again.

 

damn, that was bull ****! i feel so bad for harris. so much hard work and training all to have some completely incompetent ****** of a ref completely screw you over. that was terrible.

Harris would probably have lost anyway, but the stoppage was rediculous at that point.... NC with rematch looks pretty fair in this case.

And the ref should leave pro boxing and stick with amateurs instead. atsch

Harris is talking out of his ass,he attended the same special needs school as Zab Judah,anyone who believes in what this clown is saying should be shot.

 

Harris was easily losing the fight, but I couldn't say if he staggered at times from his opponent stopping to lean into him, or from being in any kind of problem. Anyways, he was not eating big punches in a row staggering allover the place, so there was no justification for such a stoppage.

 

Harris was lucky they let him fight after being carried out of the ring the fight before....... They should not let him fight anymore for his own safty...

 

Bad stoppage but I've never heard of a fight being overturned because of it. Matthysse was starting to get to Harris and it appeared Harris was in for a long night but that is no justification for the fight being stopped when it was. A rematch would be fair for Harris but I wouldn't like his chances in it.

 

Harris also said Witter was def on PED's because he had never been hit that hard. Guy is a clown

Wow Vivian musta been hiyt harder than I thought...so the stoppage was BS bt changing it to a NC doesn't sound reasonable...give him a rematch to try and right the wrong and leave it @ that
