    I feel sorry for him, he just can't get an opponent.

    BJS turned him down, Ramirez suddenly decided not to fight him, and the WBSS declined his application.

    He's a good fighter, would add depth to either the MW/SMW divisions.

    Bad management but he also is probably the most inconsistent performer since James Toney.

    He is inconsistent, indeed, but it is a shame that he's been left out in the cold like this.

    I'm disappointed that he isn't in the tournament. I wouldn't have been surprised if he won the entire thing.

    What you put his loss to Andy Lee down to inconsistency?
    For me, he has a terrible gas tank.

    bizarre move in all honesty. Far more deserving than someone like Cox or Brant. Even JB who I'm a massive fan of.. He was old and brittle at LHW despite still being a good talent, how is he going to cut to SMW pushing 40?

    I think that's a little harsh to call him hopeless. I had him beating Lee at the time but Lee has fight changing power for sure and caught Korobov with an excellent shot. To his credit, he stayed on his feet. I wouldn't call it a bad loss though and a win over Uzcategui is decent too.

    Very talented, but at 34 he will probably go down as wasted potential due to management. In hindsight his win over Uzcategui is quite a decent win.

    People used the Lee loss to duck him. Simple. Post Lee he he was frozen out as high risk low reward. It's a shame but what can we do?

    And he wasn't a decent amateur as Len said. He was an outstanding amateur.

    Yep. Outstanding amateur, good pro, the Lee loss notwithstanding. Hope he gets another opportunity to fight for something worthwhile.

    At the end of the day, he lost as soon as he stepped up - he got KO'd by Andy Lee! Seriously. He was never going to be an elite pro.
    Dmitry Pirog turned out to be someone we miss more.
