Herrera got robbed. Benavides probably has big-money management behind him.

 

There were no indications that the punches Benavidez threw were any more effective. If Herrera had been noticeably hurt, or even slightly bothered by anything he recieved you might have a point.

Fact is both guys are fairly feather fisted, and scoring for Benavidez based on some imaginary "power" isnt right. He couldnt hurt Herrera any more than Herrera could hurt him, are we going to score fights based on how hard someone hits a heavy bag now?

All I saw was a clinic, and a robbery. People who say Benavidez was someone doing more damage are imagining things. He did 0 real damage, actually less than Herrera. People are letting their preconceptions of Herrera as feather fisted cloud their judgement. If you look at this one fight, which is how fights should be scored - both guys looked equally light punching as far as their capability to hurt the other guy goes.

 

Didn't catch this fight, but in the Garcia fight Herrera landed the harder punches and probably close to double the amount of Danny. Compubox was rigged in that fight. You're telling me you can bribe three judges to give a 6 round handicap, yet can't do the same with three dudes pressing buttons for some stats where no one even cares/knows who they are (or even how the system registers hits for that matter). Please.:huh

Herrara is a slapper and makes for a lousy fight. Benanidez won this fight easy.

 

I haven't seen Herrera vs Garcia but if you knobs think Garcia did better than Benavidez than he must have shut him out.

I didn't watch round 1 but gave it to Herrera anyway. I had it 117-111 Benavidez easy victory. Rounds 2/3 Herrera the rest to Benavidez with the 8th round being the most debateable.
