I had it 48-48 midway into the fifth, when halted. :think

Based on how far they got, who takes a rematch?

Herrera would have won a close decision had it gone the distance, he was already starting to figure Lundy out by the 3rd round and he did poorly in the 5th due to his eyelid hanging off and obstructing his vision.

Herrera was walking Hundy down despite the horrendous cut and getting the better of most exchanges. Without the cut, Herrera easily wins a decision. Hundy's bulky frame isn't good for stamina.

The cuts clearly affected his performance and he was taking control, the rounds he won he did so clearer than the ones lost. I'm satisfied with the Victor but if they want to do it again, why not.

He was doing a pretty damn good job all things considered.

You do realize Herrera suffered a fight ending cut in the 1st round? You don't think that affected how Herrera fought?

No where close to "schooling him". There is a good argument for either guy being up. People just overrated the hell out of herrera for what he did garcia, and completley ignored styles, and labeled lundy as a bum. I knew this fight would be way closer than anyone thought. Duckler too.

yes, I'm sure it did bother him, but I highly doubt herrear would have schooled him. I was predicting around a 7-5 to 8-4 win by herrera, with very competitive rounds. the rest of the board labeled lundy a bum and thought herrera was going to dominate like 90% of the time.

So did I, I originally had it down as a SD, but Herrera is damn good and deserves the credit he gets. Herrera is a far better all around fighter than he's given credit for on here.

it's not about the credit he gets that annoys me, it's the credit lundy didnt get and the overrating of herrera saying he'd easily school him, I'm looking for the thread so i can bump it. i always see herrera is the most underrated blah blah everywhere, I think he gets far more credit than he deserves at this point.

They're both underrated and deserve more credit and you shouldn't hold it against Mauricio because his robberies have been more well known and more people are aware of them.

Herrera is the most unlucky man in boxing..... This guy just can't catch a break.
