    Round 1 - 10-9 Lara
    Round 2 - 10-9 Lara
    Round 3 - KO Lara

Bit of a quick stoppage but it wasn't going to go much longer.

    Round 1 Lara 10-9
    Round 2 Lara 10-9
Round 3 Lara wins by KO

Lara picking his shots well, Sanmartin counters with short rights. Then Lara catches him with a glancing hook, delayed reaction, Jose goes down, makes it back up, Lara unloads on him, Jose goes down again, the ref waves it, a big too soon, but the writing was on the wall.

Lara is a bit like Julio Cesar Martinez but at least he cares a bit about defense.

A lot of the forum members would have enjoyed this fight. To bad they were out enjoying their life on a Saturday night.

I don't think there was anything quick about that stoppage. Dude is still down.

Let’s match him up with Warrington again.

Dirty Warrington needs a beat down.

Definitely unfinished business there. Or is there? Bronco did badly knock him out, and as the culmination of a beatdown, not a one-hitter from out of the blue. The rematch was a case of Warrington getting a shot at redemption on account of his being able to provide Lara with a good purse moreso than it being sportingly warranted — the manner in which it concluded created an impression that there were questions still to be answered, when the first bout was conclusive enough in truth. Then again, Warrington holds a strap now and still pays well, both of those will appeal to Lara.

I think the Wood-Lara fight is really interesting, I'd still like to see it.

Mauricio Lara is a damn brutal and exciting fighter to watch. Hoping to see him face Leigh Wood soon, that is a guaranteed action fight.
