Mauricio Lara Acosta vs. Leigh Wood II & Jack Catterall vs. Darragh Foley RBR.

Jack Catterall on the other hand…that’s what I call a performance. Dominant from start to finish, boxed the head off Foley all night.

 

Of course it wasn’t, it’s just fake, over the top hype from promoters and his hardcore fans.

That said, he has massively improved, but for Hearn to say to he’s a great of British boxing is just embarrassing. Stop throwing that word around and cheapening it for actual British greats.

 

He's another Crolla. Improved as he got older, four decent money fights, should have a good life. Seems like a nice enough guy too. Great of the sport? No.

But as fun as Lara has been to watch, I generally think he is quite unskilled and crude

 

Think Wood will marmalise Warrington apart from the head he has nothing to worry Wood.

 

Personally I thought Wood v Lara 2 was a pretty decent fight. Wood used great tactics to neutralize Lara without simply being boring. He threw and landed plenty of hefty shots throughout the fight.
I’m happy for him, I thought he would lose again.

 

Aqib fiaz was always useless, chinny, feather fisted. Just a ticket seller to asian fans.that's why he's on these shows. These people cannot fight

Puts a spanner in the plan for Wood Warrington. I presume Matchroom will offer Kholmatov step-aside money. If he doesn't accept I think they should just vacate the belt and make Wood Warrington instead as it's a bigger money fight for Wood and sells better if they want to go to the City Ground. Could even see Kholmatov Ray Ford ordered for the Interim Title.

I personally would rather see Wood Warrington to be honest. I don't think Wood beats Kholmatov.

 

I would rather see Wood face Kholmatov and defend his belt like a real Champion.

Step aside money to fight over the hill shells like Warrington epitomise what is wrong with boxing these days.
