    The lesser of the two fighting McDonnell brothers stopped him years ago. I'm not saying too much should be read into that, but it happened. Guys were underestimating Michael Conlan's punch, but it's safe to say he's not a banger per se. A bigger puncher would likely have ended Leigh if he'd been connecting as well and half as often as Mick did.

    He does have a chance with Lara, though, if he fights smart.

    A real hard man's fight. Wood has the ability to fight hurt and he may well have if he's in with Lara. I can see Leigh breaking Lara's heart and stopping him late.

    To be fair, with the exception of Warrington, Lara has fought nothing but milkmen and sanitation workers and Warrington legs and equilibrium were off in the first fight after a Lara hook perforated his eardrum in what my scientific analysis leads me to believe occurred in round 4 prior to the KD and they were never the same after that. He had a wobbly-legged incapacitated sitting duck in front of him from that moment on.

    If he catches Wood like Micky Conlan was catching him he'll likely stop him but what happens if Wood catches him like he caught Conlan and Can Tszyu?
