The light heavyweight from Peru who owns wins over Henry Hank and Bob Foster....Opinons? I understand a detached retina cut his career short.
I think I saw him on Friday Night Fights back in the early sixties. Must have been against Hanks where he got a split decision. Looks like virtually all of his fights were in South America. Bob Foster only had 12 fights when he fought him....and of course Foster claims he was robbed, and that Mina at 180 lbs was a heavyweight. I think he was good Lightheavy....probably would have lost to Harold Johnson but would have beaten Pastrano.
