LMAO for willie pep over floyd. lol marciano over floyd. u want to talk about fighting people over the hill. Thats all rocky got on his resume is over the hill guys. most of them just fought a lot of fights. I see you prefer quantity over quality. lol at Bob Fitzsimmons

Why? His resume is much better than Floyds?

Clottey, Cotto, Marquez x2 (at the correct weight where Marquez is effective) and don't start saying that Manny really lost that fight because then i will just say that Floyd lost to castillo the first time, Oscar (although weight drained Corrales was weight drained when Floyd fought him), Barrera x2, Morales x2 etc etc... Floyds resume isn't as good ...no way.

The fact that you said this, and actually think it's true, shows that you know nothing about a prime Ali and your thread doesn't deserve a serious reply.

is an opinion that u can't challenge. Ali lost to his rivals, floyd didn't. Who got more skills? is clear that floyd wins that too. how is not a clear cut victory? explain.

Then it's simple you just don't know about boxing's past champions , mostly just of the last 20 - 30 years

***** u list fighters as old as the 1920s. don't act like you know. a lot of those people u listed talked about by boxing historians *******. don't act like ur some kind of boxing historian. You can't even find half of the guys on your list on video. Ur exactly the type of people who i'm talking about. spitting up some classic classic fighters and u act like u know what ur talking about. all u did is just googled up top 20-30 atg boxers.

before 1970. fighters with an amatuer background were rare. they just go in there and fight and most of them have little training. How do people value that into some great's resume. Yea guys today don't fight as many pro fights as the classic fighters but at least most of their opponents and themselves have a long amatuer background.

guys way back in the day we can only take historians words for it. it is impossible to actually know how good the oppositions are but guys like leonard, ali, and 1970 and above is easy to track thanks to television, internet and etc.
