You know, i've considered it.

I was trying to buy an autographed muhammad ali boxing glove online and it was 2000 dollars, then I broke down and looked at a floyd glove going for 80.

I wish these collectors would realize how much better mayweather is and switch those prices!

I want this chump stain ali glove.

and i can think for myself. I'm a student of the game and watch many fighters and predicted many wins to qualify that i know what i am talking about as much as the next boxing expert. So don't try to tell me that ali is a better fighter than floyd bc he is not. Ali is an outside fight strictly. And he was beaten on his head so much that he has gotten brain damage. As for resume, ali lost to his rivals and some of the rematch wins are questionable. Meaning that he is not that dominant. It is what it is. If you factor personality, and charisma then yea ali is greater than floyd.

 

And?

There is more ali merchandise in circulation than any boxer.

It's not even rare. It's just expensive because he's a ****ing top 5 ATG.

ok lets put it this way. Ali lays on ropes and let his opponents wack him until they get tired vs floyd beats his opponents and without taking punishment. hmm... which one is better? which one is harder to do? which ones takes more skill. I'm not saying ali can't fight or his resume sucks but is clear that floyd is more talented more skilled, smart fighter and his resume is better.

 

Floyd probably does have better skills, but often a big athletic boxer can beat a counterpuncher, and in fact is typically the worst matchup to be made.

See Ali vs Moore. Think of James Toney vs Roy Jones. I can't argue with you that Roy Jones has more skills than James Toney because I don't believe that he does, still Roy due to his own ability and awesome athleticism won a wide decisions against Toney.

And it's not like Ali was skilless, and he is a better pfp athlete than Floyd, and was also willing to take on all the best competition. Which regardless if you believe Floyd is to, the guys that he fought do not stack up to guys that Ali fought. Foreman was a real killer. Forget Margarito who Floyd ducked, Foreman was the real deal.

And Floyd fought Castillo? Who the **** is Castillo? Frazier vs Castillo? Don't make me laugh. And you wanna talk punchers? Coralles, what about Shavers? And then Ali went on way past his prime and fought Holmes.

Be real here. That's like sayin Floyd fought Hearns, SRL, Duran, Benitez, etc...

You think he would win all those fights?
