    I love watching baer. One of the first fights from that era I recall watching was baer v Carnera. Loved how he kept on dropping primo and had that mad grin on his face as he was doing so. He kinda had everything, big punchin, charismatic guy. Fun to watch. So good one rez.

    He looks a great fun guy (as well as a pretty good fighter).He would be a total star if he was around today.

    Utterly fantastic rez!! I love Max Baer...always have. He's an admitted guilty pleasure of mine, like Nicolino Locche and Jimmy Young are...through for obviously different stylistic reasons. This vid shows the two sides of the man...the screwball clown as well as the killer...I say he would be a huge sensation today...or for that matter in any era. What charisma he had...the equal of Ali's IMO...it's a damned shame he died so young.
