    Absolutely.

A pure slugger like Baer or Foreman, is almost like a unicorn at this level of the heavyweight division.

It is not a style that you will make to work, without exceptional physical tools, pretty much across the board!

No fighter is as successful as Baer, just by having a big punch and a good chin.

Yes big George and max both had great radar. They just knew their punches were going to land. You can’t teach that. George could just didn’t need to think about changing his stride he just walked up and hit people. Cross his front leg or punch off the back heel made no difference to him. Balance and leverage was naturally that great.

Bear would know when to pull the trigger on that fancy right hand of his (that he was so in love with), but he almost didn’t need it. His coordination was great. Everything else he had was so darn heavy too. Like George the glancing stuff still hurt, always landed and did the job too. If he didn’t want to clown or put on a show he was absolutely as lethal as can be.

    These too were remarkable athletes.

    Common factors:

    1. Ridiculous power

    2. Incredible chin

    3. An uncanny ability to intuitively find their mark

Take away any one of the three, and their style is simply not viable!

He was physically gifted no question his talent and athleticism is on display.....but he was a clown as in he clowned around alot during fights as was his nature and wasn't interested in hurting people after he killed a man....no doubt his nature was always a lighthearted joking type but I don't think he realized he could kill another man in the ring until he killed Campbell directly and then lost some of the killer instincts
