Better record ,but not better technique.I also doubt he would do any better against Dempsey than Firpo did,in fact he might surrender as he did against Louis.

 

Styles are one thing but degrees of effectiveness matter more. Any style can beat another style if the degree effectiveness is sufficient. It is not a dressage contest: it is a physical contest.

And I think he does a lot better against Jack than the Firpo who Jack absolutely trashed except for a few seconds in their bout.
